Be Grateful Every Day
Remember to always look at your ‘glass as being half full rather than half empty’. This is a popular old adage; but, certainly a true and empowering one. It reminds us that we all do have many blessings or at least some that enable us to feel thankful.
This mindset helps us to remember that things could be worse no matter how trying a situation you happen to be experiencing.
By remembering this, it helps you to keep things in proper perspective. If you focus on what’s wrong in your life, you dwell on negative energy that can snowball into more. Try your best to be thankful for what’s going well in your life and focus on that. This leads to improved wellbeing. Before you realize it, you will start feeling better about life overall.
How? Write down what you are grateful for. Tell it to others. Show who you are grateful for with an act of kindness. Hug who you appreciate.
Why? Your attention is finite. When you focus on what is going well in your life you will notice what else is going well in your life too. Negative energy attracts negative energy.
